FIELD: fat and oil industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to preparing oil seeds with enhanced moisture for storage and processing. Method involves separation of seeds for two fractions and separate drying each fraction. Fractions are separated by moisture value wherein the first fraction has moisture of nonlipid part of seeds 14.5-20.5% and the second fraction has moisture of nonlipid part of seeds 20.5-26.5%. Then the first fraction is dried at temperature 55oC, mot above, followed by cooling to temperature 2-10oC and fed to long-term storage. The obtained second fraction is dried at temperature 65-75oC, cooled to temperature 10-20oC and fed to long-term storage and processing. Invention provides preparing seeds with enhanced stability to oxidative and hydrolytic processes at storage, to elevate the oil yield, to enhance its quality by acid and peroxide numbers.
