FIELD: chemical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: isolation of desired water-soluble product from fermentation broth is accomplished by circulating broth along ceramic membrane with average pore size 4 to 100 nm and imposing pressure at least 0.15 MPa through membrane during most part of process time, this pressure exceeding initial pressure in order to allow passage of aqueous solution containing desired product through membrane and subsequent collection thereof. During the process, water is added to retained material with certain time intervals and additional amount of permeate is thus collected. Temperature of broth is maintained equal to 20-50°C during all filtration process.
EFFECT: accelerated process and increased filtration efficiency.
