FIELD: food-processing industry, in particular, preparing of marine products from sea algae.
SUBSTANCE: method involves preparing raw material; treating with acid; washing; providing thermal processing in weak-alkaline medium at temperature of 60-79°C for at least 4 hours for producing of gel; mixing gel with water in the ratio of 1:3; mixing and dehydrating with 1%-solutions of hydrochloric acid and calcium chloride used in the ratio of 15:1, respectively, for 20-30 min while continuously mixing at the rate of 10-25 rev/min; drying until moisture content is not higher than 6-10%; before drying procedure, pelletizing gel; after drying, grinding product.
EFFECT: improved quality of ready product, convenient storage and transportation.
