FIELD: medicine, quick-test diagnostics.
SUBSTANCE: at first, one should prepare a sample out of patient's blood serum due to drying and suspending in Vaseline oil, then it is necessary to conduct infrared spectroscopy of this sample upon spectrophotometer at registering absorption spectra within 1200-1000 cm-1 to register peak heights of absorption strips at maximum at 1170; 1165; 1125; 1105; 1100; 1070; 1060; 1050; 1025 cm-1. At the values of 1170 < 2.0; 1165 < 4.6; 1125 < 3.5 one should diagnose edematous form of acute pancreatitis, and at the values of 1105 > 1.9; 1100 > 2.2; 1070 > 4.3; 1060 > 4.0; 1050 > 4.7; 1025 > 4.6 - destructive form.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of differential diagnostics.
