FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves dividing eye lens into two equal parts. The lens is rotated by 90° relative to vertical axis passing through lens center in the plane running in perpendicular to the vertical axis. The first of two lateral lens segments is removed by means of ultrasound forming the first central lens segment. The remaining lens is rotated by 180° and the second lateral lens segment is removed forming the second central lens segment. Then the central segments are mechanically sequentially removed through the earlier produced limb incision of 2.5 mm large length. The operation is finished with interrupted suture being placed.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment.
