FIELD: measuring engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises moving the infra-red imager with respect to the surface to be tested and recording temperature field of the surface . Before the start of the testing, the observation field of the infra-red imager is inclined at an angle βmin ≤ β ≤ βmax to the normal to the direction of the movement of the infra-red imager. The values of angles βmin and βmax and the maximum value of linear velocity V of the movement of the infra-red imager are determined from the formulae proposed. In each frame, the radius-vector and the vision field of the infra-red imager are shifted during movement with angular velocity ωmin ≤ ω ≤ ωmax. The period and the amplitude of the shift are determined from the formula proposed.
EFFECT: enhanced quality of testing.
