FIELD: geology; remote probing of underlying surface.
SUBSTANCE: upward low-frequency radiation of quartz rocks is surveyed by a multichannel receiver mounted on an aerocopter with reference of measurement tracing on coordinates from on-board equipment of GLONASS consumers, each channel of which contains a specialized antenna circuit, self-oscillator in frequency-tightening mode, operational amplifier, electronic sampling key of measured value in time, frequency detector, analogue-to-digital converter, memory. Identification of the rock by the corresponding mineral is carried out by calculating functions of cross-correlation of the current signal with reference signals of the type of rocks from the pre-established database of standards. Synthesized measurement matrices are formed from discrete readings on the planned measurement paths. Contour on the images – bed boundaries of rock type – is selected using a software method.
EFFECT: efficiency, accessibility of inaccessible areas, high reliability.
