FIELD: evaluating group of solid-material thermal properties.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes impact of heat pulses coming from linear heat source onto flat surface of tested and reference specimens and measurement of excess temperature on flat surfaces of specimens at definite distance from heating line since moment of heat pulse supply; in the process heat pulse is applied and excess temperature measured on contact plane of tested and reference specimens and excess temperature is measured at one point until desired excess temperature to rate-of-heat ratio is attained; integral value of excess temperature is measured within time space from pulse application moment to moment of recording desired excess temperature to rate-of heat ratio, whereupon thermal properties of material under investigation are evaluated using respective mathematical model.
EFFECT: enhanced precision of evaluating group of solid-material thermal properties; reduced measurement time.
