FIELD: measuring techniques.
SUBSTANCE: method implements continuous thermal action from a line thermal source in the plane of contact of the test and reference models. Redundant temperature is measured at one point at a fixed distance from the line of heating, while the initial temperature is controlled at two extra points. A discrete mathematical model of the direct problem of thermal conductivity is used. The thermal diffusivity and thermal conductivity coefficients of the test materials are determined in the given range of identification. In this case, the residual functional J is calculated as the root-mean-square of the deviation of redundant temperature values of the real test from redundant temperature values calculated using the mathematical model. The minimum residual value should correspond to the value of the thermal diffusivity and thermal conductance of the test material.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of identifying the system of thermo-physical properties of hard materials.
