SUBSTANCE: method involves preliminarily measuring hazardous substance content in exhaust cloud created as a result of mine transport equipment operation in different modes; defining relation between hazardous substance content in exhaust cloud and mine transport equipment operation mode indexes; measuring meteorological air parameters and hazardous substance content at pit edge and inside the pit; determining relation between meteorological air parameters and hazardous substance content in mine air and hazardous substance content in air at pit edge; measuring operational mode parameters and determining mine transport location in pit; defining hazardous substance content in exhaust mine transport equipment cloud inside pit from predetermined relation; simultaneously measuring meteorological air parameters and hazardous substance content in air at pit edge; determining content of hazardous substances in mine air from predetermined relation; defining hazardous substance content in mine air in pit working areas by summing indexes characterizing hazardous substance content in exhaust mine transport equipment cloud inside pit and than characterizing hazardous substance content in mine air.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of meteorological air parameter and hazardous substance content measurement in different pit areas.
