FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: proposed engine consists of two opposed cylinders, rod coupled with two pistons, and power takeoff shaft. Groove with shoulders is made in middle of rod. Said shoulders serve as stop for bearing of drive pin which sets disk-flywheel into rotation. Drive pin is installed on rod square to rod means of split bearing. Drive pin is connected by one end with disk-flywheel through rocking bushing built into disk. Other end of pin freely moves with rod. Disk-flywheel is secured in end face wall of crankcase on bearing, and its shank serves as power takeoff shaft. If gear is fitted on disk shaft, shaft is set into rotation on through said gear, and ends of shaft simultaneously transmit main and additional power.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of engine in operation.
