FIELD: analytical chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises determining volt-ampere characteristics at the mercury electrode in the three-electrode electrochemical cell and using chloride-silver electrodes as an auxiliary electrode and a reference electrode. The background electrolyte is made of solutions of sodium sulfate. The azide-ions are concentrated in the mercury film at potentials 0.15-0.30 V. The volt-ampere characteristic is recorded in the differential-pulse regime in the potential range from 0.20 to -0.20 V.
EFFECT: enhanced sensibility and precision.
