FIELD: radio engineering, possible use for transferring service of client station between base stations of two various cell networks (inter-system "hand-off"), one of which has priority relatively to another one.

SUBSTANCE: method includes introducing intermediate state of simultaneous connection of client station to priority base station and non-priority base station, set by two thresholds for power of base station signal of priority network and four given time intervals, determining base station signal power comparison intervals of priority network to given two thresholds. Intermediate state of simultaneous connection of client station and base station of priority network and non-priority network allows in case of feeding effecting to increased quality and reliability of communication during transfer of service of client station between base stations of various cell networks by decreased frequency of client service transfer from source base station to adjacent base station of network and vice versa (decreased frequency of ping-pong effect).

EFFECT: increased quality and reliability of communication during transfer of service to client station.
