FIELD: pipeline engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises making a split rubber coupling the opposite parts of which are provided with cocks. The coupling members are mounted on the section of the pipe to be repaired and are interconnected. The cocks are positioned at the top and bottom points of the coupling. The preliminary compressed hose is interposed between the pipeline and coupling. The ends of the hose are set in the openings of the coupling through the seals. The flanges are mounted at both ends of the coupling, and the hoses are filled with liquid or gas. The hoses expand, center the coupling with respect to the pipeline, and seal the space under the coupling. The flanges are tightened, and the space under the coupling is filled with a sealing composition by means of a high-pressure injector.
EFFECT: enhanced quality and safety of repairing.
