FIELD: chemical technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a composition used in electrode coatings comprising the following components, wt.-%: iron powder, 1-2; ferromanganese, 7-10; quartz sand, 3-4; feldspar, 3-4; kaolin, 11-13; marble, 7-10; electrode cellulose, 5-7; carboxymethylcellulose (CMC), 0.5-1; rutile, the balance. Selection of components for coating provides possibility for carrying out welding in all space positions. Electrodes combine properties both rutile and cellulose type of coating. Invention can be used in making coated electrodes for handle arc welding.
EFFECT: improved and valuable properties of composition.
