FIELD: methods of production of adsorbents on base of mineral carriers, mainly alumino-silicates; cleaning water from emulsified and dissolved petroleum products, as well as from spilled petroleum products.

SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in introducing the alkaline-silicate additive at concentration of 10-20% in the amount of 0.2-3.0% of mass of alumino-silicate carrier into lignosulfonate solution at mixing the solution. Carrier is impregnated with this compound. Carrier impregnated with this compound is subjected to heat treatment at temperature of 700-900°C. Used as alumino-silicate carrier is vermiculite at size of particles of 0.25-8.0 mm or perlite at size of particles of 0.125-0.25 mm and used as alkaline-silicate additive is potassium silicate and/or sodium silicate at silica modulus of 2.8-4.2. Heat treatment of impregnated carrier is performed in flow of gases formed during combustion of hydrocarbon fuel: natural gas, diesel fuel and mazut. Adsorbent thus produced has increased (by approximately 2.5 times) sorption capacity relative to spilled, emulsified and dissolved petroleum products.

EFFECT: enhanced efficiency; increased sorption capacity.
