FIELD: integrated processing of vegetable food products.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technology of producing silicon carbide useful in ceramics industry comprising acid treatment of rice husk followed by heating thereof in graphite crucible at temperature raise velocity higher than 1000°C and ageing at 1400°C for 0.1 h. Heat treatment of resulting product is carried out for at least 2 h at 700°C.
EFFECT: reduced cost and improved reliability of process.
