SUBSTANCE: method for producing stone articles comprises steps of filling forms with heated material; soaking articles in them and then removing cooled articles out of forms; heating stone material up to softening temperature, "yielding" under load; placing batch of heated material in squeezing chamber; then displacing said material to working cavities of forms by means of mechanical force.
EFFECT: shortened time period for soaking articles in forms, lowered cost price of stone articles, reduced power consumption for producing articles.
