FIELD: railway signaling and communication; traffic control.
SUBSTANCE: according to proposed method, ac signal is supplied to track circuit at one end, received at other end and voltage of received signal is compared with threshold value. Signal of ac current is supplied to track circuit alternately from left-hand and right hand ends, and voltages of signals received at opposite ends are compared in turn with threshold values of track occupied and track clear signals. If voltage of signal received at left-hand or right-hand ends exceeds threshold track clear signal value, track circuit is considered non-occupied, and if its value is lower than threshold value of signal, track circuit is considered occupied.
EFFECT: improved reliability of checking.
