DEVICE FOR TURNING OFF NUTS OF INTERMEDIATE RAIL FASTENING OF TRACK Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC E01B29/28 

FIELD: railway transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanization of track facilities and it can be used for laying rail lengths and for provision of their temperature expanding. Proposed device for turning off nuts of intermediate rail fastenings of track contains running gear with feeling members detecting location of nuts moving along rails with nut runners mounted in horizontal guides for longitudinal travel with vertically movable socket wrenches on spindles and catchers mounted in vertical plane. Said catchers are lever type, with feeler on end of lever. Nut runners are balanced by elastic members in longitudinal displacement. Hinges fastening levers of catcher are arranged on guide. Fastening hinges and feelers of levers are arranged at different sides relative to longitudinal axis of spindle. Levers are spring-loaded relative to stops on guides and are furnished in middle part with inclined vertical surfaces for engagement with vertically movable part of spindle. In vertical position, distance between vertical surfaces of levers is equal to width of vertically movable part of spindle engaging with levers and corresponds to distance between feelers closed on nut.

EFFECT: possibility of coaxial alignment of spindle of nut runner and nut by drive of vertically displaced socket wrench of spindle, improved efficiency of device for turning off nuts of intermediate rail fastening.
