FIELD: pipeline transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for shutting off pipelines for mounting, repair, tests and other purposes. Grips intercoupled by mounting studs are secured on flanges of pipeline. Rotary inserts are installed on one of studs. Blind insert is made in form of blind disk, and through insert, in form of ring disk. To shut off pipeline, flanges are moved off by rotating mounting studs, and blind rotary insert is driven into clearance. Flanges are moved to each other by mounting studs and clamped together by bolts and works are carried out on section of pipeline, thus shut off.
EFFECT: enlarged range of technical means.
