FIELD: transport, pipelines.

SUBSTANCE: mating flanges are furnished with bosses, pin-jointed in pairs, the pins being fitted in the aforesaid bosses parallel to the pipeline on opposite-direction threaded joints. One of the said pins accommodates, between the flanges, a rotary bracket whereon a through and a blind inserts are fastened. The said through insert represents a ring-like disk while the blind insert is a blind disk. In using one insert, the other one is held by common bracket outside the flange joint. Note here that one insert serves as a mounting lever for the other one.
