SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pipeline transport and can be used in devices for shutting off pipeline for technological purposes. Working element of the device for shutting off the pipeline contains insert 1 in the form of a blind disc and insert 2 in the form of an annular disc. Inserts are connected by bracket, which is made with a connector along axis of mounting hole 3 and consists of two parts: cross bars 4 and cover 5, tightened by pins 6 and nuts 7. O-rings 8 are installed on inserts 1 and 2. On insert 1 there is valve 9 for monitoring the transported medium, reducing pressure in the pipeline and connecting the bypass pipeline. Insert 1 is protected by casing 10 from atmospheric action.

EFFECT: reduced labor intensiveness of repair and maintenance of pipeline, increased reliability and safety of working element.
