FIELD: testing engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises magnetostrictive converter, vibration concentrator mounted for permitting change of the space between the concentrator and specimen to be tested, tank filled with fluid, and fastening member for the specimen. The device is additionally provided with the cylindrical cantilevers that locks the surface to be worn out. The cantilevers are provided with the impellers, rotate around their axes, and roll over the surface of the specimen to be tested. The base of the cantilevers is rigidly connected with the housing of the magnetostrictive converter. The fastening member has the space provided with spring and gate valve made for permitting permanent contact of the specimen to be tested with the cantilevers.
EFFECT: enhanced precision.
