FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to gynecology and oncology. For the diagnosis of human papillomavirus in a scraping sample from the cervical canal, gas chromatography-mass spectrometry determines the concentrations of anteisopentadecanoic acid, 9,10-pentadecenoic acid, 10-methylpentadecenoic acid, 9,10-isohexadecenoic acid, 2-hydroxymyristic acid, 3-hydroxypalmitic acid and 10-hydroxystearic acid. Then, using the classification equations of linear discriminant analysis, the values of diagnostic coefficients are calculated, confirming the presence or absence of the human papillomavirus (HPV).
EFFECT: method provides a safe and non-invasive diagnosis of HPV.
