METHOD FOR DIFFERENTIAL DIAGNOSTICS OF ETIOLOGICAL FORMS OF DISCIRCULATORY ENCEPHALOPATHY AT DIFFERENT TYPES OF ARTERIAL HYPERTENSION FLOW Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC A61B5/00 A61B5/02

Abstract RU 2311117 C2

FIELD: medicine, neurology.

SUBSTANCE: it is necessary to calculate discriminant functions: ZAH-without AH=6.763-0.037X5-0.378X9-0.596X17-0.506X19-1.893X29-0.274X30, ZAH without C-AH with C=12.044-3.340X2+0.352X21-0.616X25-2.695X42-0.790X54, where ZAH-without AH - the criterion of differential diagnostics of the states "discirculatory encephalopathy at arterial hypertension - discirculatory encephalopathy without arterial hypertension", ZAH without C-AH with C - The criterion of differential diagnostics of the states "discirculatory encephalopathy at arterial hypertension without crises - discirculatory encephalopathy at crisis flow of arterial hypertension", X2 - sex, X5 - concomitant diseases, X9 - the type and the quantity of acute disorders of cerebral circulation, X17 - the level of location of unilateral hemispherical foci, X19 - localization of stem foci, X21 - distribution of cortical atrophy and underlying white substance in cerebral lobes, X25 - lateralization of periventricular atrophy and its connection with focal lesion, X29 - widening of perivascular spaces, X30 - the syndromes of motor disorders, X42 - the presence of paroxysmal disorders of consciousness, X54 - the degree of asthenic manifestations; the values for patients' states should be identified according to "the patient's history on trials at encephalopathy". At ZAH-without AH value being > 0.376 one should diagnose discirculatory encephalopathy without arterial hypertension, at ZAH-without AH <=0.376 - discirculatory encephalopathy with arterial hypertension, at ZAH without C-AH with C > 0.362 one should diagnose discirculatory encephalopathy with arterial hypertension without crises, at ZAH without C-AH with C <=0.362 - discirculatory encephalopathy with crisis flow of arterial hypertension. The innovation increases the significance of differential diagnostics due to registering comprehensive complex trial in such patients.

EFFECT: higher accuracy of diagnostics.
