FIELD: working of built-up cutting tool, milling steps on blank.
SUBSTANCE: cutting tip includes pair of mutually opposite main lateral surfaces. Each lateral surface has two mutually spaced mainly flat and non laying in the same plane supporting surfaces inclined by different angles relative to normal line to base of cutting tip. Milling cutter includes at least one cutting tip and body with seat for tip. Said seat includes adjacent lateral and rear walls directed practically across its base. Lateral wall has mutually spaced mainly flat and non-laying in the same plane lateral supporting surfaces inclined by different angles relative to normal line to seat base.
EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of mounting cutting tip in seat of milling cutter.
