FIELD: medicine, otorhinolaryngology.

SUBSTANCE: it is necessary to sample smears-prints for rhinocytogram and cytograms of left palatine tonsil and left cheek. One should study cell composition of the obtained smears with the help of binocular microscope, detect the percentage of segmented neutrophils in cytograms in general composition of cells. Based upon the data obtained it is important to differentiate the presence of chronic process in area of palatine tonsils, or the presence of chronic process in area of lymphoid tissue of nasopharynx in combination with hypertrophy of palatine tonsils without signs of inflammation, or the presence of chronic process of lymphoid tissue of nasopharynx and palatine tonsils.

EFFECT: higher accuracy of diagnostics.
