FIELD: liqueur and vodka industry.
SUBSTANCE: rectified ethyl alcohol and drinking purified water are cooled separately to temperature 4-5°C and aqueous-alcoholic solution (mixture) is prepared by their mixing to provide vodka with the strength value 40 vol.%. Thoroughly stirred and cooled mixture is treated with activated carbon of sort AG-OV or SKD-515 by its passing through filters filled with carbon at the rate 70-80 dal/h. If necessary, the required prescription components are added to vodka and vodka conditions are controlled. In case deviation of indices from normal values correction is carried out followed by final filtration and bottling. This allows decreasing vodka cost based on excluding consumptions for providing flow circulation, increasing filtration rate, higher sorption capacity of carbon, increasing activity after regeneration and duration time of its using, and to enhance quality of the ready product based on separate cooling ethyl alcohol and water, elevated formation of esters and adsorption of acetic aldehyde and fusel oils.
EFFECT: improved method of vodka production.
