FIELD: investigating or analyzing of materials.

SUBSTANCE: device comprises collecting and condensing units for sampling aerosol particles of sprayed biological agent in the control section and producing liquid sample from the aerosol sample, separator made of a dry cyclone, and aerosol concentrator made of wet cyclone. The collecting unit has a member for collecting particles, hood, and casing and is made for permitting it to be positioned in the zone of catching or in the zone of the particle rejection. The member has jet device for transporting a portion of liquid sample to the container, device for identification of biological agent made for permitting receiving the container and analysis of liquid sample, and device for control of the unit and indicating the testing results. The method of detecting biological agent is also presented.
