FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a technology for producing a vanadium trioxide/carbon composite of the composition V2O3/C, which can be used as an effective electrode material for lithium current sources. The method of obtaining a composite of vanadium trioxide/carbon includes obtaining an aqueous solution of malic or citric acid and vanadyl hydroxide at a molar ratio equal to (0.75-2):1, drying and annealing in an inert atmosphere, while hydrothermal treatment of the resulting solution is carried out at a temperature of 160 -200°C and an overpressure of 617-1554 kPa for 12-24 hours, and annealing is carried out at a temperature of 600-700°C for 1-2 hours.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain a high quality vanadium trioxide / carbon V2O3/C composite due to structural stability of the product with particle morphology in the form of spheres and a core-shell structure due to an increase in the shell thickness and a uniform distribution of component particles.
