FIELD: flour-and-cereals industry, in particular, preparing of grain for processing.
SUBSTANCE: method involves cleaning grain from impurities; cleaning grain surface; wetting grain to moisture content of 14-15%; softening during 4-20 min; processing grain in roll machine with gap between rolls making 1.9 mm; aspirating grain. Such method facilitates in cleaning of grain surface and partial removal of coatings.
EFFECT: reduced grain preparing time owing to decreased moistening time, and reduced consumption of power for further grinding process owing to disturbing of seed integrity.
