FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention covers new 1-substituted 4-nitroimidazole derivative represented by common formula (1) where R is a hydrogen atom, lower alkyl group substituted by lower aloxy group, lower alkyl group substituted by phenyl-lower aloxy group, phenyl-lower aloxy group which may include lower aloxy group as substituent in phenyl ring or a group with formula -CH2RA; where RA is a group with formula , where RB is a hydrogen atom or lower alkyl group; X is a chlorine and bromine atom or a group described by formula - S(O)n-R1; n is equal to 0 or a whole number 1 or 2; and R1 is a phenyl group which may include from 1 to 3 substituents selected from group which includes nitrogroup, halogen atom and lower alkyl group in the phenyl ring; provided that when X is a chlorine or bromine atom, then R should not be a hydrogen atom or its salt; the invention also covers method of production of the above described compound.
EFFECT: compounds are suitable for use as intermediate substances in synthesis of various pharmaceuticals and reagents for agriculture.
