FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: method of storing agricultural products comprises an exposure of agricultural products before placement for storage in the atmosphere containing gaseous 1-methylcyclopropene, at a temperature from 0 to 20°C for 1.0-11.5 hours. Then the processed products are placed for storage in the refrigerating chambers operating on the principle of the ordinary atmosphere.
EFFECT: increase in the shelf life of agricultural products and improvement of their quality.
