FIELD: metallurgy; fabricating porous materials.
SUBSTANCE: method includes foaming of a dense porophore containing blank out of aluminium alloys by means of its heating and cooling. Heating of the blank is carried out at a rate of 200-1000°C/min; at that the blank and a source of heat are relocated against each other at speed of 1-20 mm/sec. To receive a porous material of the preset thickness, density and required appearance of surface the foamed blank is deformed prior to cooling.
EFFECT: upgrading of homogeneity of a porous structure of a product and possibility to regulate its density, thickness and appearance of surface.
