FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: initial gas mixture of uranium hexafluoride (UF6), hydrogen fluoride (HF) and other fluorides is passed through the cascade of the sequentially placed lithium fluoride and sodium fluoride at pressure not more than 760 mmHg. The gas mixture is passed through the lithium fluoride at 20-40°C, and through the sodium fluoride - at 20-120°C. The powder-like and/or granulated lithium fluoride and sodium fluoride are used. Desorbtion of HF from the lithium fluoride is performed at 60-80°C and 10-50 mmHg, and from the sodium fluoride - at 150-180°C and 40-100 mmHg. Desorbtion of the phosphorus fluoride from the lithium fluoride is performed at pressure not more than 200 mmHg and 100-125°C. Desorbtion of silicon tetrafluoride from the lithium fluoride is performed at 150-300°C. Desorbtion of UF6 from the sodium fluoride is performed at 300-400°C.
EFFECT: invention enables selective extraction of different fluoride components from gas mixtures with complex chemical composition.
