SUBSTANCE: image converter includes micro-channel plate, with each channel being supplied with separate gas absorber made as coating from substance or compound of two or three substances having high absorbing capacity and secondary emission rate of more than one, e.g. compound of cesium and stibium or tellurium, mainly in the form of stable compounds Cs3Sb, Cs2Te and individual gas absorbers of inlet and outlet surfaces of multi-channel plate between channels and shield made as coating of substance or compound of substances having high absorbing capacities combined with the decrease in power consumption by 30-40% due to reduction of voltage to micro-channel plate, which does not exceed 0.8 from micro-channel plate voltage from the preset general curve of micro-channel plate amplification.

EFFECT: durability of device without using ion barrier film.
