FIELD: biology.

SUBSTANCE: invention concerns medical microbiology. The method involves extraction of the analysed strain DNA, polymerase chain reaction (PCR) using synthetic TAN1 and TAN2 primers complementary to hutG - YP01967 zone and featuring the following nucleotide sequences: TAN1-5'-TGGGCTTGAATACGGATGATG-3', TAN2-5'-ACAACCATGCTGACGTGGG-3'. Species and subspecies of the analysed microbe strains are defined by comparing amplicone volume produced by the analysed strains with markers, particularly with a mix of amplicones produced with TAN1 and TAN2 primers, and reference plague and pseudotuberculosis microbe strain DNA.

EFFECT: fast and accurate differentiation of plague and pseudotuberculosis microbe strains and inter-species differentiation of plague microbe strains.
