FIELD: electricity, heating.
SUBSTANCE: device includes a microwave chamber for baking in which there is an article to be baked and an absorbing object made of a material with a high coefficient of absorption of microwave radiation. The specified absorbing object is made in the form of a plate for installation on it of the preparation of the article to be baked; in this case the plate is made from a material, with the coefficient of absorption γpl of microwave radiation it is much more, than the coefficient of absorption of the material of the product γpl>>γpr, and the thickness of the plate chosen is less, than length of the wave of the used microwave radiation. During the microwave heating due to the diffraction effect there is a local overheating of the edge of the plate.
EFFECT: improvement in the quality of the baked ceramic article due to the increase in the uniformity of the distribution of temperature inside the baked products during the baking.
