FIELD: technological processes; physics.
SUBSTANCE: method includes application of electric potential of direct current to wall of pipe or pipeline to exclude electric contribution into friction coefficient, at that applied potential of direct current has value equal and opposite in sign to potential that naturally occurs in flow of liquid medium as a result of electric charges generation on wall of pipe or pipeline due to interaction of liquid medium and wall material. Improvement of flow rate results in more efficient operation of heat exchanger, i.e. to lower rate of deposits formation and higher rate of non-organic agents removal. Liquid medium may represent pure liquid, colloidal solution or may contain inclusions in the shape of particles.
EFFECT: reduction of deposits on walls of pipelines with reduction of friction at pipeline wall.
