SUBSTANCE: method involves sequential processing of soil sample by the method of Tamm fist, and then by Mehra-Jackson method, which allow defining Feox and Fedit(sequent.) values. Soil gleying degree is calculated by the expression Kgl= Feox: [Feox + Fedit(sequent.)].
EFFECT: high precision of defining soil gleying degree.
