FIELD: physics, measurement.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to method and device for measurement of melt cool-down curve and/or melt sample heating curve with the help of optical fibre, at that immersible end of optical fibre that has at least partially free surface is surrounded with heat resistant chamber of sample reception with provision of cavity, so that optical fibre is immersed with its immersible end into melt and by doing this, sample is formed in chamber of sample reception, after that chamber of sample reception with sample and optical fibre is taken out from melted metal, and curve of sample cool-down is measured, and/or, after preliminary hardening of sample, profile of temperature change in the process of heating is measured on the basis of signal accepted by optical fibre and sent to measuring instrument.
EFFECT: improvement of temperature measurement.
