FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: method includes use of bath of chloride salt melt, in which Al2S3 is dissolved, bath of chloride salt melt contains alkali metals chlorides, and additive, which contains fluoride compound is introduced into bath, additive mainly represents fluoride compound, in particular, cryolite. Cryolite concentration is from 5 to 30 wt %, more preferably from 7 to 15 wt %, the most preferably - approximately 10 wt %. In addition, efficient area of anode surface, which spreads into bath, is increased by reducing number and/or size of gas bubbles covering anode.

EFFECT: improvement of bath electric conductivity and increase of current density in bath.
