FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: propulsive and lifting force is created by flapping movements of two pair of wings phase shifted at 90° and located in one plane. While in flight the wing incidence of each wing is changed separately. The aircraft includes a body, two pairs of wings, hinges installed on the body and engine. The gear producing flapping movements includes rods, which connect wing blades to hinges. The rods are linked to the engine by sliders and double-throw crank shafts displaced against each other at 90° for right and left wings. Working gears of left and right wings rotate in different directions simultaneously and in phase with each other.
EFFECT: increased efficiency and manoeuvrability.
