FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns metallurgy field and can be used for receiving of metals ingots, such as titanium, alloy steels, uranium, zirconium, tantalum. In method it is additionally measured level of melt in capsule, by meaning of which is defined value of threshold angles, corresponding start of melt discharge from capsule into casting mold, it is defined capsule angle of slope, corresponding to defined level of filling of casting mold by melt, and it is implemented by means of automatic system with software regulation of discharge speed from capsule into casting mold by means of management of operation of lifting mechanism of electrode-holder and capsule turn for defined angle and measurement device of change of level melt in capsule.
EFFECT: increasing of ingot quality at the expense of exclusion of hydraulic impact and metal spraying, reduction of porosity by means of discharge speed regulation, and also automating of ingot receiving process, excluding time of visual control.
