FIELD: aeronautical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to flight vehicles, particularly to flapping wing flight vehicles. The universal drive of the proposed flapping wing flight vehicle comprises an engine fitted in the housing and articulated with the intermediate shaft, in its turn, articulated with the main shaft mounted inside two separated cylindrical casing linked up, via outer swivels, with the housing. Main shaft each end insides house a sliding rod travelling towards the frame with the wing from the main shaft and casing spaces. The said sliding rod is driven by intermediate lever pivoted to the former and to the drive rod. The frame side ends accommodate two half-axles arranged aligned and with outside cantilever, the said half-axles being hinged to the frame outer ends. The said frame is rigidly jointed to the main shaft appropriate casing. To control the wing angular amplitude, there is a lever pivoted to the frame and sliding rod, while to change the angle of attack, the frame accommodates the lever to turn the frame together with the wing.
EFFECT: flapping wing flight vehicle operation without flap asymmetry.
