FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: testing process involves from filler to fuel surface thus applying related fuel contact detector. Herewith it is not required to observe strict horizontal position of the vehicle. Three measurements in three various directions of probe travel are considered to be enough to receive three various fuel contact points indicating horizontal tankage and fuel remained.
EFFECT: development of easy-to-use and universal method of fuel test in fuel tank, thus to be automated.
