SUBSTANCE: invention concerns biotechnology and represents the method of obtaining of a L-lysine or a L-arginine using fermentation which includes bacterium cultivation possessing ability to produce the basic amino acid in liquid medium, being in a fermenter, for production and accumulation of the basic amino acid in medium where the quantity of ions of Zinci sulfas and-or Sodium chloridum used in quality counter ions of the basic amino acid, reduce, regulating concentration of the general ammonia in medium during the period of time chosen from group, consisting of the period during which value pH is enlarged mediums owing to shortage of counter ions of the basic amino acid, caused by accumulation of the basic amino acids, and time period during which value pH is enlarged as a result of addition of cations on medium, thus concentration of ions of ammonium in medium is at such level, at which sum of ionic equivalents of ions of bicarbonate and-or carbonate and other anions, dissolved in medium, more than an ionic equivalent of the basic amino acid ionised from the basic amino acid, accumulated in medium and where the specified concentration of the general ammonia in medium is at the level which is not inhibiting production of the basic amino acid by a bacterium which is defined in advance.
EFFECT: obtaining of the L-lysine or L-arginine with high degree of efficiency.
