FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method refers to medicine, namely to children's cardiology and cardiovascular surgery. Acute medicinal test is performed with using vasodilator Syldenaphile. Originally and 1 h after Syldenaphile intake in dose 1.5 mg/kg, echocardiography is performed to estimate haemodynamic indicators. If blood shunting indicator is increased with reduced systolic pressure in right ventricle of heart relative to reference values, outcome of operative treatment is considered to be favourable. While the absence of changes in the given indicators show adverse outcome of operative treatment. Method allows determining severity of pulmonary hypertension at the stage of preoperative examination of the patients, predicting the course of postoperative period and estimating risk of operation.
EFFECT: improved quality of performed treatment.
