METHOD FOR SEVERITY DETERMINATION FOR ACUTE INFECTIOUS MONONUCLEOSIS CAUSED BY EPSTEIN - BARR VIRUS IN CHILDREN Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC G01N33/48 G01N21/78

Abstract RU 2625505 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: method for determination of the severity of acute infectious mononucleosis caused by EBV includes additional malondialdehyde content determination in the serum of patients with infectious mononucleosis, and if malondialdehyde content in the blood serum is in the range of 1.10 to 6.10 mmol/l, the severity state is estimated as light, if malondialdehyde content is in the range of 6.11 to 10.15 mg/l, the severity state is estimated as moderate, and if malondialdehyde content is at least 10.16 mmol/l, the severity state is estimated as heavy.

EFFECT: higher reliability and enhanced functional diagnostic capabilities in terms of severity of acute infectious mononucleosis caused by the Epstein-Barr virus.
